The Tumanishvili Film Actors Theatre was founded in 1978 by acclaimed Georgian director Mikheil Tumanishvili as an experimental theater studio. The theatre features an open stage without a curtain, creating an intimate connection between actors and audience. It maintains a permanent troupe of actors trained by Tumanishvili himself and performs a diverse repertoire of classical and contemporary works.
