The traditional Tushetian Guda cheese festival takes place in the village of Kvemo-Alvani in Akhmeta Municipality. Farmers and cheesemakers from the mountain region gather to present traditional dairy products, honey and local goods, and conduct master classes on preparing Tushetian dishes. The programme features a cheese competition, music, dancing and an introduction to Tushetian culture.
