The Georgian National Gallery, also known as Tbilisi Art Gallery or Blue Gallery, is located on Rustaveli Avenue and houses over 30,000 art pieces. Originally built in 1888 as a Russian Military-Historical Museum, it was transformed into an art gallery in 1920 by Georgian artist Dimitri Shevardnadze. The gallery features eight permanent halls showcasing works by prominent Georgian artists such as Niko Pirosmani, Davit Kakabadze, and Lado Gudiashvili, as well as international exhibitions.
