Ilia Chavchavadze Museum

A literary memorial museum established in 1982 dedicated to the life and work of 19th-century Georgian writer, poet, publicist, and public figure Ilia Chavchavadze. The museum is housed in the building where Chavchavadze lived from 1888-1901, extensively renovated and reopened in 2021. It contains over 14,000 items including personal archives, manuscripts, photographs, and artifacts related to Chavchavadze's life and work.
