The premiere of Georgian film 'Guria' directed by Levan Koghuashvili will take place at the Venice Film Festival. The film, produced by seven countries including Georgia, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Bulgaria, Norway, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia, will represent Georgia in the International Feature Film category at the Academy Awards. The tragicomedy depicts love and friendship in the early 1990s against a backdrop of power shortages, poverty, and crime.

A charity campaign at Slow coffee shop timed to coincide with International Day of Charity. From September 5–7, 50% of proceeds from sales of filter coffee and carrot cupcake combo will be donated to Laughter Therapy foundation, which supports hospital clowns working in oncology and neurology departments of Georgian hospitals. The campaign takes place at both Slow locations: Vake and Chugureti branches.
